Embrace the finer things in the kykNET Leefstyl Plein
Festival goers can sit back and relax and embrace the finer things in life in the kykNET Leefstyl Plein.
Two firsts for the Wildsfees will be craft beer and craft gin.
Some of the wines festival goers can look forward to savouring and discussing with the makers or their agents will come from Calitzdorp, La Capra, Cronier Wines, Simonsvlei, Ormonde, Swartland Winery, Clairvauix, Sumsare, Van Lovern, Veden Agency, Zevenwacht Wins, Jakkalsvlei and Rhino Run.
For those who prefer their tipple brewed rather than fermented another must try is a range of brews from the South African Breweries Newlands Spring Craft beer.
At the BSB (Bridge Street Brewery) Craft Gin Bar festival goers will be able to sip locally distilled fine craft gins, each with its own specific garnish.
There will also be a wide variety of fine foods to go with the wine, beer and gin, including cheeses, oysters, sushi, olives and biltong.
Entertainment will be provided by The Sensationals, Patrick Lindoor and the Bay City Rockers.
A Sunday highlight is the Skaapkop Lang Tafel, which this year is also serving skaapstertjies.
Anyone wanting to tuck into the traditional delicacies must please contact the Wildsfees office to book to ensure they have a seat and a head on the day.
